The main purpose of this project is to facilitate the traffic in the UNESCO protected area by diverting it to the new ring road of the city, thus enabling the movement of vehicles away from the central area where the traffic currently passes.

Construction works value 7 million € The general objective of this project is the detailed design for requalification of the axis into a ring road, including solution of the relevant geometric and structural elements, aiming the traffic improvement and preserve the identity of the historical area. The specific objective of this project is to provide a better solution for this road axis, providing the best possible solution with the most economical cost; provision of variants during the idea project phase, drafting of the detailed design including all the necessary geological, hydrological, environmental investigations and expropriations; design of the road superstructure for heavy traffic, design of works of art (if any), design of vertical and horizontal signage and infrastructure networks; design of the secondary roads that will connect the new ring road with Uznove neighborhood.
