The overall objective of the project is to revitalize the Albanian railways and enhance railway transport by improving railway infrastructure and operations and securing safety and interoperability. The scope of our assignment is to offer professional services in relation to the Validation of the Tirana-Durres Railway Design package and recommendations for the BID process, for Generali Costruzioni Ferroviali S.p.A, (G.C.F) during the process of its competition for this tender financed by EBRD. Our services consist as below: Review of the Topografical Survey and alignment; Review of the Geological and Geotechnical conditions of the Design; Review of the Hydraulic Design; Review of the Structural Design; Review of the Design BoQ/BoP; Analysis of strong and weak points of the design packages; Recommendation to the Contractor for the preparation of the BoQ and future potential VO’s.
