The Scope of Work are for complete detailed design (main design, utility relocation and protection design of existing utilities, traffic analysis and road safety audit), obtaining permit for construction, continuous design site support during construction. Corridor 8 is a key component of Pan-European Transport Corridor 8, connecting the Adriatic Sea and the Black Sea through Albania, North Macedonia and Bulgaria. As per project scope, Trebenista – Struga – Kjafasan Motorway section will be built. It consists of construction of a new 4-lane motorway from Trebenista through Struga to the border with the Republic of Albania. Section 3 is greenfield, near the Ohrid Lake region that falls in UNESCO protection zone, connecting Corridor 8 through Trebenista to Struga to Albanian Border at Kafasan. Section Length is approximately 21.5 km.
